Pooches Paws © 2019
Hi there, I'm Charlotte, owner of Pooches Paws. I'm 31 years old. I have a varied range of lovely pets, including my two very cheeky chinchillas Charlie and Olly, Bailey a very crazy 4 year old golden retriever, 10 year old Chester a laid back cross breed who loves his cuddles, Bella a 6 year old ball crazy, seat stealing staffie and finally our two degus, Archie and Alfie. I started grooming at the age of 16 in local groomers where I trained until the age of 19. From then I always knew my dream would be to have my own grooming company. I also studied a diploma in advanced care in canines and felines in 2010 which included two diplomas in nutrition and canine first aid within the course. I've recently done training in 2011 with the trusted ABTD school of dog training and behaviour and passed 6 diplomas with the highest grades. I’m currently continuing my study's with dog behaviour and studying to become a fully recognized and qualified behaviour practitioner.
I've always loved working with all kinds of animals, from grooming, day care
and sitting. I've even worked in the largest retail pet shop in the UK gaining
qualifications in small animal, fish and reptile care along the way. This is how
my idea for Pooches Paws came along, putting all my experiences and
knowledge together in one place and turning it into a full time job that I love!
I provide a more personal service, with full consultations about some of my
services, giving you a chance to get to know me and, most importantly, for you
to feel comfortable knowing your pets have had a chance to bond with me
before the service provided takes place.
My grooming service especially will have a more personal touch as I bring my
service to you in the comfort of your own home, with the peace of mind
knowing your dog is in the best capable hands.
